There’s still time for you to give your views to shape the development of multi-agency Domestic Homicide Review model for Scotland. The Scottish Government are undertaking engagement with professionals and those with lived experience until Monday 30 October.
There are a number of ways to take part depending on what works best for you and/or those you support. You can respond directly to the online consultation; take part in a self-facilitated engagement session (online or in-person) or, for those working in the sector, you can take part in an online session organised by the Scottish Government. Professionals can join one of the sessions which are being held on:
- Monday, 23rd of October 2023 – 10:00 to 12:00 (Microsoft Teams)
- Thursday, 26th of October 2023 – 10:00 to 12:00 (Microsoft Teams)
- Friday, 27th of October 2023 – 09:30 to 11:30 (Microsoft Teams)
- Monday, 30th of October 2023 – 13:30 to 15:30 (Microsoft teams)
The Scottish Government-organised engagement sessions will be facilitated by the University of Edinburgh/Healthcare Improvement Scotland, with safeguarding support provided by SafeLives/Scottish Women’s Aid. To ensure that everyone has a chance to express their views sessions are limited to 10 people. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Please contact the Domestic Homicide Review Team as soon as possible if you’d like to take part in one of these events or if you would like us to send you a pack that will help you run a self -facilitated session.
Thank you for your continued support. We’ll be sharing the findings of the targeted engagement exercise before the end of the year.
