Coming together to support local organisations to help your clients get through the cost of living crisis, SGN, Scottish Fire & Rescue Service, Greener Kirkcaldy and the Gas Safe Charity’s Think CO Programme are running a series of free workshops in Glasgow (Cambuslang) (22nd Nov), Fife (23rd Nov) and Aberdeen (24th Nov).
Aimed at front line staff and volunteers who deliver services in the homes of vulnerable people, the free workshops will train you in how to spot the dangers and safety risks of carbon monoxide poisoning so you can make your clients more CO aware, as well as gain information and find out more about the resources available to help vulnerable people, including the Priority Services Register.
We know that the cost of living crisis is seeing people turn to potentially dangerous heating and cooking practices. Knowing about these and where to get help and support can help save lives this winter.
