Please join us for a 30 minute micro event, to launch our ‘Climate Change and Community Safety Zine’ which looks at how our changing environment might influence our safety.
In light of COP26, and the impact of climate change becoming ever more apparent across Scotland and the UK, the Scottish Community Safety Network (SCSN) facilitated a workshop last year with a broad spectrum of community safety representatives and organisations, to identify how climate change might affect community safety.
As the workshop generated great discussion and illuminating insights into the future, SCSN decided to take these outputs and put them into a handy ‘zine’ as an innovative way to share, influence, inform, and capture attention for positive change in community safety.
The event will be an informal micro event where we have a look at and discuss the content of the zine, as well as the process and experience of creating it.
